Valentino dresses under Maria Grazia Chiuri and
Pierpaolo Piccioli are always so romantic and dreamy, but never done in a overly
sweet way.. I don’t
know how they do it? They still manage to keep it cool enough, contemporary and
innovative
The latest haute couture offering was straight out
of Medieval peasants dressmakers handbook,
however, Medieval peasants never dressed with this luxury
I loved the needlepoint embroideries on long
pinafores
ruched and cape-backed dresses, long narrow sleeves
that flared at the wrist over embroidered dresses
the embellishments, and the appliquéd flowers
the smoken shirts under heavily embellished dresses
the gold sequins and embroidery
and the simple velvet dresses all worked so well
I need to go a find a castle now
